About Us
Founded in 1986, Abbey Owney has gone from strength to strength. Initially working from a small workshop and now in our present factory and showrooms of 26,000 sq feet. We have an experienced and motivated team of upholsterers, joiners and spray- finishers.
The company has invested heavily in the most modern of controlled wood working machinery allowing us to customise any project or develop completely new ranges in conjunction with Interior Designers and Architects.

Abbey Owney is committed to using raw materials from well managed and sustainable sources.
Water based stains and lacquers are used to produce a vast range of colour finishes.
CMHR foam and fabrics compliant with fire retardant laws are standard with all our products where applicable.
During production maximum attention is paid to reducing the consumption of raw materials, reusing or recycling waste and controlling emissions.
Timber products are sourced from suppliers that are FSC certified, this means we make exclusive use of wood that is sourced from responsible forests.
